This self-reflective project chronicles my journey around the world through cities I’ve lived. I address subjects around cultural change/shock and the effects of moving around as a child. In this series of graphic t-shirts, I personify my past with six curated designs. Elements of each design connects with settings, experiences, and objects I found to be meaningful and representative of my time spent in each of these places. Throughout this project, I questioned issues around identity and belonging, seeing the common t-shirt as a unifying symbol of one’s patriotism.
